Step 1:
Use a dime to a nickel size dot of dish soap (like Dawn or Joy) with luke-warm water
Step 2:
Gently rotate the piece in your hands under the luke-warm water until the water runs clear
Step 3:
Dry with a plush bath towel, patting dry
Note: if the piece has chains, dry until the chains are bone dry
Step 4:
store in the fabric bag provided or similar
Note: do not store in a plastic or Ziploc bag, this can cause the piece to rust, voiding guarantee

Our guarantee does not cover theft or loss of a piece.
Repairs
Your satisfaction with your piece is important to us here at Khatovar. Our skilled crafters are able to make repairs to all of our products. We will work hard to get your piece back to you in as little time as possible. Turn around for repairs can vary based on our inventory and the piece being repaired. Some may take a day from receiving to shipping, others weeks. You may feel secure that we will work hard to repair your piece in a timely fashion.
We can make your repairs during the Colorado Renaissance Faire season, or you may ship the product to us. During the Colorado Renaissance Faire season we can make some repairs the same day, others can be picked up another weekend during faire or shipped to you when completed.
Typical return shipping for repairs will be standard mail. We can rush ship, charging you the difference. Return shipping charges may apply in special cases, you may contact us for more information. We will let you know if there will be any return shipping charges when we receive the product and your shipping information.
What We Need to Repair Your Piece:
-As much of the original piece as you have: this will aid our crafters in a speedy and accurate repair
-Your contact information: so we may let you know we received the package and can give you a time frame on repair, as well as ask you any questions that we may have
-Your mailing address: so we can mail you the product when finished (we can arrange pickup if you will be attending any of the faires that we will have a booth at)
